If I am invited to interview, what can I expect?

Case Study

For most roles, it is likely that you will be asked to do a case study as part of your interview, this will be dependent on the role and could be an excel spreadsheet exercise or an investment proposal for example.

Our case studies are designed to help make sure that all our candidates are treated in a fair, consistent and objective manner. The results provide further evidence to the panel of your potential to succeed.

Interview

Our competency-based interviews usually last about an hour and provide you with the opportunity to discuss your previous experience and your motivation for the specific role. The interview will also provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions that you might have as we want you to be sure that the role and our culture are right for you. For certain roles it is likely that there will be two interviews. An interview panel normally comprises of two to three people.

Presentation

It is possible, depending on the role, that you may be required to prepare and deliver a presentation to the interview panel. Where this is the case, you will always be given appropriate advance notice and the presentation topic will be role-related.
